Finca Bellavista A sustainable Tree House  Adventure

Finca Bellavista is located in the mountainous South Pacific coastal region of Costa Rica. Perched overlooking the Golfo Dulce and nurtured by the Bellavista and Piedras Blancas rivers, the location of this unique enclave is unmatched in its magnificence and pulses with life. The surrounding Southern Zone is a bountiful area that boasts numerous outdoor adventure and eco-tourism opportunities and is one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems in the world. Referred to as the country’s ‘last frontier’, the rugged and picturesque landscape of the area, with its laid-back lifestyle and friendly vibe, is quite different than other parts of Costa Rica and provides a welcome retreat from the pace of life elsewhere in the world.

There are a few things to know about these special homes before you begin making plans to visit.

Firstly, this is a private community, and all rentals are individually owned and managed as vacation rental homes. Finca Bellavista is not for everyone and is not a ‘typical’ tourist destination.

They are NOT a full-service spa or a fancy hotel. You won’t find TVs in the cabinas, or electricity in many homes. (Please contact us for the descriptions of each rental.) What you will find is a rustic, yet comfortable retreat from the outside world to explore and enjoy. They have  limited human resources to show every visitor personally to features, hikes, gardens, trees and animals. This is a great place for independent travelers and nature-lovers to get back to the earth and explore.

       Tree House Community

Living in the trees is a universal theme that many dream, but few experience… Now you can live out your treetop fantasies at Finca Bellavista – a place that’s off the ground, off the grid, and out of this world!
In essence, Finca Bellavista is a rustic, yet comfortable, private retreat off the beaten path where limited numbers of guests can explore the natural wonders of the rainforest and enjoy a simpler life. When you come to visit the finca, you are staying in someone’s private home, not a full-service resort. And those of us that call this place home have grown accustomed to life on the outer fringes of civilization.
